Carpet is specified in commercial environments where acoustic absorption, comfort underfoot, and aesthetics outweigh the long-term maintenance cost of hard surfaces. We install both — the choice depends on space type, design intent, maintenance plan, and lifecycle cost preferences.
Individual tiles can be replaced when damaged or stained. Phased installation is simpler. Underfloor access for data and HVAC. Design flexibility for pattern mixing and directional layouts. Lower waste than broadloom.

The Clean Slate Process removes existing adhesive chemically rather than by mechanical scraping or grinding. This is critical in two scenarios: occupied buildings where grinding dust is unacceptable, and buildings constructed before 1985 where the existing adhesive may contain asbestos. Chemical removal encapsulates hazardous materials rather than aerosolizing them.
We default to Green Label Plus certified, low-VOC adhesive systems for all occupied-space installations. These adhesives meet the most stringent IAQ emissions standards in the industry. Carpet tile from major manufacturers carries the same certification. Off-gassing typically falls to undetectable levels within 24 to 72 hours.
Yes. For large office floors, senior living buildings, and hospitality properties, we routinely phase installations across multiple weekends or multiple after-hours shifts. The key is sequencing the zones so completed sections are protected from construction traffic and each zone is fully functional before the next phase begins.
ATR provides a 2-year workmanship warranty covering adhesion, seam quality, and installation integrity. Carpet manufacturer material warranties (typically 5 to 15 years depending on product) apply separately and pass through to the building owner.
