Is concrete repair cheaper than full replacement?
In most cases, yes. Concrete repair and restoration typically costs 40–70% less than tear-out and replacement. Our Clean Slate Process restores structural integrity and appearance without the expense, waste, and disruption of demolition. We’ll inspect your concrete and recommend repair only when it’s the right solution.
Will there be dust during the work?
No. Unlike traditional grinding and shot blasting, our Clean Slate Process uses chemistry-driven preparation that eliminates airborne silica dust. Your home or facility stays clean, and the air stays safe to breathe throughout the entire project.
Is the process safe for pets and children?
Absolutely. We use biodegradable, low-VOC compounds that are safe for your family and pets. Once the surface is cured (typically within hours), it’s completely safe to walk on with bare feet, paws, and everything in between.
How long before I can walk on the surface?
Most restored surfaces are walkable within hours of completion. Full cure times vary by product and application, but you won’t need to stay off your floors for days. We’ll give you a specific timeline for your project.

What services does ATR Concrete Technologies offer?
We offer seven core services: concrete repair, concrete resurfacing, slab restoration, surface preparation, adhesive removal, moisture mitigation, and protective coatings. Each service can be combined based on your project’s specific needs.
What’s the difference between concrete repair and restoration?
Repair addresses specific damage like cracks, spalling, or chipping. Restoration is a more comprehensive approach that brings the entire surface back to structural and visual integrity — including cleaning, surface profiling, and protective coatings. Think of repair as a fix and restoration as a renewal.
When should I resurface instead of replace my concrete?
If the underlying slab is structurally sound but the surface is worn, stained, or damaged, resurfacing is the smart choice. It’s faster, more affordable, and produces a brand-new appearance. We only recommend replacement when the slab has severe structural compromise that can’t be addressed through restoration.
Do you work on commercial projects?
Yes. Commercial and industrial concrete restoration is a significant part of our business. We’ve restored warehouse floors, retail spaces, manufacturing facilities, loading docks, and parking structures — often while the facility remains fully operational.

How long does a typical project take?
Most residential projects are completed in one day. Larger commercial projects may take 2–3 days depending on square footage and scope. We’ll provide an accurate timeline during your free estimate so you can plan accordingly.
What is the Clean Slate Process?
The Clean Slate Process is our proprietary, chemistry-driven approach to concrete restoration. Instead of grinding or shot blasting, we use biodegradable chemical compounds to prepare, restore, and protect concrete surfaces. Do I need to leave my home during the work?
No. Because our process generates no silica dust, no toxic fumes, and minimal noise, you can stay in your home comfortably throughout the entire project. Most homeowners go about their day normally while we work.
